Morrinsville office and library entrance re-opening soon

We have been making safety and structural improvements to the customer services area at our Morrinsville office on Canada Street, including strengthening a wall in the library. Construction started 9 June and is now nearing completion. Here are a few key dates while we wrap the project up:

  • Friday 8 August - customer services are not available this day and the library will open late at 10am, please continue to use the rear entrance.
  • Saturday 9 August - for library access please continue to use the rear entrance.
  • Monday 11 August - return to using the front entrance for customer services and library access. Opening at 9am to allow time to remove the security fence. Customer services will be operating from the front desk again from here on out.
  • Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 August - library closed but customer services remain open through the front entrance.
  • Friday 15 August - library re-opens.

Until then, we will continue to have signs and guiding arrows in place and the library afterhours slot will remain available.

Customer services hours: 8am-4.30pm (as per usual).

Library hours during construction: 9am-5pm (instead of 9.30am-5.30pm).
