The Bayleys Business Night Out celebrates business success in Matamata-Piako and will be returning on Thursday 4 September 2025 at the Matamata-Piako Civic and Memorial Centre.

The categories that are set to return in 2025 are:

• The Trades, Manufacturing and Primary Industries
• Consumer Services (Retail, Tourism and Hospitality)
• Professional Services
• New and Emerging Business

Each of the category winners will then be eligible to become the Matamata-Piako Bayleys Supreme Business Award winner.

Joining these award categories will be the highly contested People’s Choice Awards  - one for each of the three towns in the district, which goes to public vote.

Each year Council invites an inspirational speaker as part of the awards ceremony.
