There will be no changes to your kerbside recycling collection following the Auckland Anniversary weekend (27 Jan).

However, Waitangi Day falls on a Thursday this year (6 Feb), so Te Aroha's rubbish and food scraps collection will be one day later. Matamata and Morrinsville will not be affected.

The collection days that week will be as follows:

• Matamata (incl. Waharoa and Walton): Tuesday, 4 Feb
• Morrinsville (incl. Tahuna): Wednesday, 5 Feb
• Te Aroha (incl. Waitoa and Waihou): Friday, 7 Feb

Transfer stations will open as normal:

• Monday 27 Jan - Morrinsville
• Thursday 6 Feb - Matamata and Morrinsville
