Matamata-Piako District Council is pro-active in stimulating the Matamata-Piako economy. We are open for business and support this by:

• offering a business liaison manager to help specific business projects
• we have a business relationship management model for businesses wanting to set up or expand in the district
• proactive knowledge sharing within the business community on information that’s relevant to new business, such as available land and building space, applicable regulations.
• on-going engagement with the business community, from small to large businesses.
