Business Growth Advice
We've partnered with Te Waka (the regional economic development agency) to provide Business Growth Advisors for all Matamata Piako District businesses, visiting both Matamata and Te Aroha once a month (Matamata last Friday of the month, Te Aroha second Thursday of the month). Regular appointments in Morrinsville will be launching in 2020, and we can provide an appointment on request.
These are free one on one meetings with an advisor and the business owner.
Business Growth Advisors take a birds-eye look at your whole business, helping you connect with the right resources and experts so you can build capability and grow. As part of a national network of people who can help, they’re your first port of call when you want to grow your enterprise efficiently and effectively.
What type of help is available?
Te Waka’s business growth services are aimed at helping businesses gain knowledge, connect with the right people, and grow.

Does my business qualify for this help?
The main criteria for Te Waka assistance is the desire to grow.
“We currently work with companies across the Waikato and will now be working more closely with the Matamata Piako,” says Te Waka Business Growth Advisor Peter Davey. “We’re very interested in helping local businesses that are wanting to grow, facing technical roadblocks, or looking to take on new skills that will enable business growth.”
