A helicopter will be delivering materials to the Tui Domain Track on 3 March 2026. The track will be closed during this period to ensure safety for the public and the working team. We will be transporting materials up to a remote location to enable us to undertake track renewals.
Following the storms on 21-22 January 2026, we haven't been able to assess all of the tracks yet so please be extremely cautious and check this update on what to expect and a few tips to help keep you safe.
Upper Domain Walk
This walk begins on a shared track near the geyser. It features a large Kauri tree and an historic water reservoir. Towards the end of the walk, the path links up with the Lower Domain Walk at the Number 21 Magnesia Spring. Here, there is a choice to finish the loop at the Mokena Geyser or head down to the pools.
