There is certainly room for growth in this Spa industry but not sure how fast to do it. Also can we still advertise the geyser as pretty pathetic now. Perhaps it could build up a head of steam once a day?

Such a good idea. Would help reduce waste significantly. Please goal to have it in 3 centres in time.

I believe this is key!! We 1st come to live in Te Aroha because the 'Lions' had painted all the shop frontages & it looked cared for & prosperous. Could the shop frontages in Te Aroha be painted in Edwardian colours (may need to remove verandahs) Would fit well with the Domain.

What do you think about our proposed limits for rates and debt?
I think you do not need to increase the rates and I feel 11.5% is reasonable especially as it is the highest rate hike for 10 years. We do NOT want to get bogged down by debt. Not fair on our descendants

Great to have more elderly housing provided.
We need to provide assets not only for the fit - altho these are good - but also for disabled etc. ii looking at pools and libraries is a good idea. The storm water drains in Te Aroha need to be cleaned out of all the vegetation in them.

My husband and I love living in Te Aroha. We love the mountain, the friendly people, the large streets. We think the Council does a great job in most areas
However - the shop frontages ie the outside paintwork need a facelift. - could volunteers work on this?
- the bridge needs a facelift
- the waste water drains esp the large ones, need emptying of all vegetation.
