(tick) Changing Kerbside collections from 2023 minus foodwaste bin. No increase of rates from 1 July 2021 without extra service, so no pre-pay for 2023 - prposed system.
No food waste collection required for rural township. We all have gardens to compost food waste. At least give opt-out option!
Community group could run community compost heaps like in big cities.

I appreciate the efforts to explain proposed rate increases. It is not the task of the MPDC to stimulate or support economic growth or attract or facilitate more tourism. Such an approach can not be sustainable due to our definite resources, financial and environmental constraints and the unpredictable effects of climate change.
In these times Conservation should be the driver of short and long term plans.
Budget for compliance with drinking water standards is okay as long as it doesn't involve enforced medication (fluoride).
