The country as a whole needs to reduce waste. We will never eliminate the whole problem however anything we can do to control it better is a positive.

Recycling & being able to manage our own waste is the preferred way forward.
As we can see desposing of rubbish is very costly, if we set up our own recycling it will cost less in the long run.

More visitors seem to be looking for outdoor activities. Also our locals need somewhere to run dogs that doesn't upset other users of the walking tracks.

If the area has better facilities the community benefit as a whole. We need to improve and maintain our assets. A cycleway to Morrinsville would be a practical move. Theres definitely a need for housing for our elderly.

We are part of a lovely community that is situated in a picturesque part of NZ. It is important that our resources are used wisely - for the improvement of our towns. Unfortunately whatever decisions are made it will not please everybody however if we stick to basics we can't go far wrong!
