Full description of idea:

i think the council should be having talks to govt agencys to plan the future of the rail line that rans tru matamata.as there is likely to be more trains and matamata is getting bigger, the line should be put under ground from the sale yards waharoa west road to just before the race course.this is a big ask but the council have to look at what matamata will be like in ten plus years.the cost in todays money is about $1.5B.

How this idea will benefit the community:

this will give better a better traffic flow at the the farmers road intersection with round about and the firth street /hinuera west road with a round about. this idea is for the council to look how big this town going to be in ten plus years with the increase in population and cars
