Full description of idea:

The heavy traffic and thru traffic should be re routed Thru TeAroha by creating a by pass using rewi street and burgess st. This would remove the horrendous intersection at Whittaker and Kenrick.
This could easily be controlled by round a Bouts if needed. Rewi and Burgess streets both have the width to accommodate heavy trucks,and parking could be provided for those that wish to stop for breakaway.

How this idea will benefit the community:

This would mKe the shopping area more attractive and safer for pedestrians and motorists without having to dodge heavy traffic
