Full description of idea:

The hall in the Civic Centre would be far more user friendly for the local Art and quilt groups if the walls could be used to pin or hang the art to enable the groups to exhibit there.Also a stage reinstated for the performing arts to utilise this space.The hirage cosy maybe could be adjusted on individual merit as these groups are run by local amateurs who rely on public support for funding and paying top dollar for a venue fee wipes out the small profit gained from showcasing our local talent.

How this idea will benefit the community:

It would be far more user friendly for local groups as central to town.People from out of the region who attend would probably spend time and money in town and support our local buisiness.Better to have this space being used than not if the cost and lack of facilitating the public drives them elsewhere.
