![]() | Move the Roses from the rose gardens to the I-site and local churches |
Submitted by Wayne Robb Community Facilities |
Full description of idea:
Moving the roses from the rose garden on Moorhouse Street to Thames Street outsite/beside the i-site and local churches will display them and be enjoyed by a lot more people than what see them in their current location.
The rose garden area would be dug out and metal and either hot mix and or concrete installed to the site. Lines painted for spacing for car parking.
How this idea will benefit the community:
By moving these roses this will enable a space for more car parking for the town. This carpark would be adjacent to the main carpark in town and is an easy walk to most businesses.
This area could accommodate up to 40 carparks (further measurements would be required).
The main benefit to the community is more carparks for the town.
