Morrinsville Streetscape.
I believe that before any thought to redeveloping the central business area, thought needs to go into the supply of 'practical' and centrally located alternative parking facilities.
One suggestion is to investigate the opportunity to purchase land on the corner of Anderson & Moorehouse streets, Opposite Thomas Park, (where the optometrist used to be located) this land and the site of the 'Old' Vet building in between Countdown & Mitre10 could supply a suitable and sensible alternative to the poorly thought through option of behind the Events Centre. This site is underutilised because of its Position so far from the area "people want"to use and Safety concerns for people and cars in this hidden away back section

How this idea will benefit the community:

To allow a practical base to work from to initiate alternative Streetscape options, that will work for the future rather than just the next couple of years
