Full description of idea:

Once or twice a year Te Aroha could hold dairy food festivals to celebrate the dairy produce of the county. This would demonstrate the importance of farming and especially the a variety of farming methods used to create these foods. An entrance fee would be charges to access the stalls, sampling and meals with an entrance fee. This would be scheduled to not clash with Field Days! One of the festivals may concentrate on the organic farm movement and the variety of produce made from goats, sheep, buffalo etc . This would appeal to a wide range of visitors.

How this idea will benefit the community:

It would increase the number of visitors to Te Aroha and enable them to enjoy the town including the spas and Mt Te Aroha and other walking and bike trails. Shops and businesses would benefit
