We are upgrading the bus stops on Ward Street, Waharoa and installing new bus stop shelters. The improvements will help make public transport a more accessible, convenient and comfortable experience for Eastern Connector bus users.

As well as relocating the bus stops to safer locations further from the intersection, we are constructing concrete pads and raised kerbs to help make it easier to enter and exit the bus. New modular bus shelters are on their way, to provide a more comfortable waiting area. 

Work is expected to be completed by early June.
