Have your bins arrived?

Over the past couple of weeks, new food scrap bins and rubbish bins have been delivered around the district - please remember not to use these until the new services begin on September 5. In addition to this another team has been adding RFID and a latch to existing recycling bins.

Please get in touch with us if:

  • Your new food scrap bin or rubbish bin has not been delivered
  • your bin(s) arrived damaged or broken

If your recycling bin hasn’t been fitted with the latch yet, don’t sweat! We’re focusing on making sure everyone has their bins first, and then our contractors will return to capture missed bins on the normal recycling day. This may be after the new collections have begun. You are also welcome to pick up a free latch from any Council office.
