Alpha one is moving to Objective Build

We're making our building consent process a lot easier by moving to a new online system called Objective Build. The transition from Alpha One to Objective Build, will launch this weekend. Alpha One will be unavailable from 5pm Friday 5 April - 8am Monday 8 April. So the next time you log in to the customer portal - things will look a little different.

What is Objective Build?

Objective Build is an online building consents system, designed to create consistency, transparency, quality and efficiencies into your building consent application. The online system will allow you to create, submit, track and manage your building consents all in one place.

In order for this to be a smooth transition, here a few important things to know:

  • After the 'go live' launch, you may need to re-register on Objective Build unless you have recently lodged a consent with Tauranga City Council, Waitomo or Western Bay or Plenty or any other Council currently using Objective Build.
  • All consents in the Alpha One system will be transferred to Objective Build. You will be reconnected, once you sign up to Objective Build using the same email address used for Alpha One.
  • You will still be able to log into Alpha One and access draft consents for the next 30 days.
