Visitors to the Te Aroha Domain next month, will see two construction projects underway including installation of an Exeloo toilet block and restoring the site of the old Te Aroha skate pavillion. 

We are installing a new double cubicle Exeloo public toilet block next to Domain Gallery. The cubicles will meet current disability accessibility requirements and one will have baby changing facilities. Work is expected to start week commencing 20 November and take approximately three weeks. Once these toilets are ready to go, the existing toilets (behind the isite) will typically be locked and used as overflow for events.

We are also restoring the grass bank at the former site of the old Te Aroha Domain skate pavilion, demolished last year. Work is planned to take place 8-10 November. Please be mindful of vehicles moving throughout the Domain during construction. The construction area does not include the old skating rink. We are no longer putting a toilet block here, it is being placed by the Domain Gallery instead (see above).
