Reserve on Spur Street, Te Aroha (Yellow A - portion opposite netball club and BMX track)
We’re looking at turning part of the reserve on Spur Street into a fenced off-leash area. What do you think?
I like it and would use it

I would use if fencing was suitable for all sized dogs. Would be great if people kept dogs on leads when not in off leash area. Could we have an animal control person check these areas on a regular basis as I have been walking with my dog in wet lands on a daily basis and have had countless times when off lead dogs have attacked my dog. This has caused my dog to become very lead reactive around other dogs and has put me off walking there.
Spur Street Esplanade, Te Aroha (Yellow B - portion near the Waihou River under the footbridge)
We’re looking at expanding the current Spur Street Esplanade into an off-leash area which will be managed by a community group but available for everyone to use. What do you think?
