Peria Road Reserve (Yellow portion excluding memorial plantings and pathway)
We’re looking at turning Peria Road Reserve into a fenced off-leash area. What do you think?

Comments:
Swapps Park is a far better area. Easily accessible for most people.
We need a dog park we can walk to rather than having one right on the edge
of town accessible only to people in the Peria rd area.
Swapps park is acessible to people on both sides of the railway line and it is a far easier walk to get to it rather than having to walk through town where dogs are banned. This means a big loop to get to Peria Road or having to drive which means we need off road parking. With two dogs to get in and out of a car we need secure parking. The size of the park looks tiny compared to Swapps park. This would be of concern if there are a different sized dogs running around. I walk our two dogs daily and frequently walk from Lancewood to Swapps park. A reasonable walk but very doable. Walking to Peria road means crossing a major and very busy highway.
