Full description of idea:

Why not turn one of the streets on the left of FONTERRA in Allen Street into an EAT STREET where restaurants with colourful umbrellas, tables and chairs could then be set up under a covered area such as the one in Rotorua and Wellington, Evening and weekend Produce and craft markets will also bring people into Morrinsville. Musicians could also have more space.There would be sufficient parking for people to
walk to the street.

How this idea will benefit the community:

It would solve the parking problems and also enable more new shops with new ideas to come into Morrinsville.
Morrinsville has looked the same for the last 30 years, the shops on the road frontage need to be freshened up with a new coat of paint to bring colour and life Into the town instead of looking tired and unloved.
