Full description of idea:

MPDC have many policies/by laws that are not known or complied with by the general public. At present the polices that are acted on appear to be a reactive response to complaints rather than being managed on a proactive basis.
Smoking & Drinking in public places, overstaying advertised parking limits,
Freedom campers, Heavy Vehicles parked up in 50k areas, Dogs in CBD,
Private vegetation encroachment on public areas, Skateboards/scooters
in CBD, car regos and WOF etc etc to name a few

How this idea will benefit the community:

A trained officer would tour the district and would firstly make offenders aware of MPDC polices and by laws and their infringements with a written warning. Failing to comply to the written warning within a set time or a second offence would result in a instant fine.
This would benefit all residents and make the district a better healthier safer place to live. Way have polices if they are not acted on unless a complaint is received.
