Wastewater supply work
East Avenue, Carlyle Street, Centennial Avenue and Spencer Street, Te Aroha

We will be conducting sewer main maintenance work along East Avenue, Carlyle Street, Centennial Avenue and Spencer Street, Te Aroha on Wednesday, 9 July and Thursday, 10 July 2025 from 8am to 4pm.

To maintain our essential services, we will conduct a wash of the sewer mains with a high-pressure jetting head which may cause unexpected splashes from your private toilets. To minimise any inconvenience, please keep your toilet lids closed while not in use during this time.

Thank you for your understanding and patience while we maintain our wastewater services.

Water valve testing, ongoing around the district.

We are exercising water valves around the district to ensure they're working properly - this is an important part of maintaining our water network as it helps us identify issues early. This process may dislodge sediment and it's possible some properties may experience "dirty water".

If you notice dirty water, we recommend turning on an outside tap for a few minutes to flush through any sediment or air bubbles, which may cause discolouration to the water. If that does not solve the issue, please contact us 0800 746 467. Thank you for your patience.
