We will be shutting down water supply to properties numbered 11-47 along Young Street in Morrinsville on Tuesday 10 February from 9-10am so that our team can investigate a water valve in the area.
Planned sewer main maintenance work
Sewer maintenance, Te Aroha
Our KVS Reticulation team will be cleaning sewer mains with high-pressure jetting on Friday, 16 January, between 8am-2pm as part of essential maintenance. Please close toilet lids when not in use during this time.
This work will affect:
- 65-55 Gilchrist Street
- 2A-14 Gallagher Street
- 18-40 Shakespeare Street
- Possibly 15-23 Farmer Street

Water valve testing, ongoing around the district.
We are exercising water valves around the district to ensure they're working properly - this is an important part of maintaining our water network as it helps us identify issues early. This process may dislodge sediment and it's possible some properties may experience "dirty water".
If you notice dirty water, we recommend turning on an outside tap for a few minutes to flush through any sediment or air bubbles, which may cause discolouration to the water. If that does not solve the issue, please contact us 0800 746 467. Thank you for your patience.
