Temporary road closures    

Walton Road and Kereone intersection

Walton Road and Kereone Road intersection will be closed overnight on Wednesday 17 December while road surfacing work is completed.

Higgins Contractors will be replacing the existing chip-seal surface with asphalt, weather permitting.

The intersection will be closed from 8pm to 5am. Please plan ahead and use alternative routes where possible.

State Highway 26, 24 November - 3 December

There will be delays along SH26 between Morrinsville and Tatuanui while roadworks are completed.

Kaimai Ranges, 7-11 December

The road over the Kaimai Ranges will close from 7-11 December, between 7.30pm and 4am each night (reopening early Friday morning) to complete urgent scaling works on the Ruahihi Bluffs, along with routine maintenance.
