Are you desperately trying to get on with your creative project but hindered by lack of money?
Council administers the Creative Communities Scheme that provides funding for arts and cultural projects in our district. The money comes from a national arts body, Creative New Zealand.
All funding applications go through to the Creative Communities allocation committee in our district. The committee is allocated $23,000 each year to distribute to the community.
Did you know…Fundview is a national funding information database where you can find which other funding organisations may financially support your project. You can access this database at your local library.Creative Communities Application FormsApplications for grants to fund arts and cultural activities are invited. Applications can be made for activities or events that have an arts focus and meet any one of the following criteria:

Project Report FormAll recipients of funds from the Creative Communities Scheme must complete and return the form below within two months of completing their project. If you do not complete and return this form you will no be eligible for future funding through the Creative Communities Scheme.
