Most of the housing consists of one bedroom units. Many have special features such as floor level disabled access showers, safety rails and ramps, carpeted lounge and bedroom.

 

All the flats come unfurnished, and usually tenants must provide their own curtains/blinds, washing machines and fridges. Most complexes have off street parking.

 

Council is responsible for maintaining the unit. Typical maintenance includes:

  • Lawns mowed on an average of once per week
  • Refuse and recycling collected once per week
  • Any internal or external water and sewer breaks
  • Any repairs to stove and hot water cylinder

All units are part of an annual maintenance schedule.
