The Morrinsville Rose Gardens are located on Moorhouse Street between Anderson Street and Thames Street in the central area of Morrinsville.

in 1953 Morrinsville Borough Council purchase the reserve from the Salvation Army Property Trust Board. A durther 275 square metres of private land, whihc was laready in use as part of the garden was all purchased in 1998 from Roasenorth Buildings Limited. This acquisition conincided with the redevelopment of the Rose Gardens in 1999/2000.

The gardens consists of a flat grassed area and reatures three pergola/seating areas. concrete pacing in a herringbone pattern, picket fence and cicular rose beds. Prior to this, the Morrinsville Horticultural Society established the Rose Gardens in 1946 and maintained them for many years.
