This reserve is 3.0092 hectares in size. It is located off Peria Road in the north western area of Matamata. The reserve is bounded to the north, and west by farmland, to the east by residential property, and to the south by Peria Road.  It is currently leased for grazing.

The area is not separately identified in the Operative District Plan. The underlying planning zone is Residential.
