Tahuna Domain Print E-mail

This reserve is 2.665 hectares in size. It is located off the TahunaOhinewai Road, in Tahuna, approximately 18 km north of Morrinsville. Pedestrian access is also available off Rimu Street.  The reserve is bounded to the east by residential properties, to the south by the Tahuna Golf Course, to the West by the Tahuna Primary School, and to the north by the TahunaOhinewai Road.

 

The site includes:

  • A rugby field
  • 3 hard surface tennis courts
  • Clubrooms shared by the Tennis Club and Rugby Club
  • A bowling green
  • Bowling Club rooms
  • Public toilets
  • Implement shed

 

The western boundary is defined by a shelterbelt planting. The District Plan identifies the site as a Reserve in the Rural Zone.  The underlying zone is Rural.

 

Tahuna Domain Board

Council provides an annual grant to the Tahuna Domain Board to assist with mowing of the area.
