These scenic tracks pass through lovely bush areas including some historic points of interest. They are both excellent short walks for those wanting to explore further than the Domain. They are also great walks for children, with lots to see and explore (and if you head up there at night you may even see some glow worms).

Upper Domain Walk

This walk begins at the Mokena Geyser, following the Bald Spur track The track passes a large Kauri (New Zealand native) tree, an old water reservoir, and the No. 21 magnesia spring. Walkers can choose to either join on to the Lower Domain track and come out by the Te Aroha Leisure Pools, or head the other way along the Lower Domain track to end up back at the geyser.
