Submissions open on Private Plan Change 64: Banks Road

We're inviting submissions on Private Plan Change 64: Banks Road.

Matamata-Piako District Council has accepted Private Plan Change 64 (PPC-64) for processing. The application was submitted by KA Matamata Partnership Limited.

The plan change would rezone about 26.3 hectares of land at 61-117 Banks Road, Matamata, from Rural Zone with a Future Residential Policy Area Overlay to Residential Zone. If approved, the land could accommodate around 430 new homes.

The proposal also includes changes to the indicative road layout and planned roads within the Banks Road to Mangawhero Road Structure Plan, including roads within the Future Residential Policy Area.
