Delays to rental bond refunds

You may have seen in the news recently that Tenancy Services are experiencing extended processing times for rental bond refunds. This may affect customers that use our rental senior person's housing services.

When we recieve a bond from a customer, it is deposited and held by Tenancy Services at the same time as the tenancy agreement is lodged. When the tenancy ends, the bond is refunded either in part of in whole depending on the condition of the rental. The refund by direct debit is managed entirely by Tenancy Services after the refund application has been lodged. 

We appreciate that these delays are frustrating and difficult. Unfortunately we are unable to influence processes at Tenancy Services. For the most up to date information, please head to the Tenancy Services website.
