Support during COVID-19
We know the COVID-19 lockdown and changing levels can be a worrisome time for many people - but help is there, anytime you need it. You are never alone.
If you've been affected by the COVID-19 alert level changes, there is financial assistance available for businesses and help for individuals and whānau.
You may be able to get help with:
- Food costs
- Accommodation costs
- Power, gas, heating or water bills
- Medical and dental costs
- Wage subsidy
Call 0800 559 009 or visit workandincome.govt.nz/covid-19 to find out about the supports available for individuals, families, employers and self-employed people affected by COVID-19. This service is available to everyone, not just those who are currently registered with WINZ.
