| 4.10 Service Stations |

Service stations are permitted within the industrial and business zones provided that they are situated at least 100 metres from the nearest residential zone, otherwise they shall be dealt with as discretionary activities.
Explanation Council considers that if the development of a service station is situated at least 100 metres from a residential use or community facility, effects can be appropriately mitigated so as not to cause any adverse impacts on those uses. |
